Punk Out Floral! ;)

A new set is in and i decided to create one that had a mix and match of two different themes: Floral and Biker Chic! I took beautiful floral dresses and decided to add gorgeous leather jackets to them, creating a biker babe edge to the outfits. I also included studded pump heels to my outfits to give them more of a feminine appeal then i topped them off with nice studded statement bangles.

The Little Dancing Ballerina

This is my favorite set yet!
I created a set that shows the harmony of all the pieces, you see the whole outfit and you can automatically think of a ballerina. The softness of the colors, the elegance and grace of it all definitely shows an aura of a dancer.

Chic Alert!

For this set i have incorporated a more of a red rocker chic look. I wanted to balance the red in the outfit and add gold to accentuate it too, the black on the other hand was my base for it all and i think my whole get up came out well! ;)

The Goddess!

My Theme for this set is all about being a greek goddess, lovely draping on a blue dress which is accentuated by good jewelry. I added an orange bag to give the whole peice an edge on color and i used a fun looking background. :)

Crazy Fashion!

A few weeks ago my cousin introduced me to a designer named Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. This designer also known as JC/DC and is a french nobleman who was born in Casablanca, Morocco. He has enjoyed international success and dressed stars like Madonna and Helena Christensen.

Jean-Charles de Castelbajac is one of the most unique designer's i have ever seen! His collection that really amazed me was his JC and the Sky with Diamonds collection. Words cannot explain how peculiar but creative his pieces are so instead of me trying to explain to you what i mean, ill show you instead.

See what I mean?! ;)

Go Green!

This era is all about going green and being eco-friendly. We all know about global warming and its bad effects. We need to take action and do our part to help our earth become a healthier and safer environment to live in. Designers have incorporated this trend into their designs. We see materials like organic cotton and hemp for eco-friendly fabric. We also see things like the Envirosaxs which are made to replace plastic when you go shopping. They aren't only great because they help the environment but they are also extremely stylish and fashionable. If you wanna learn more about them visit : http://www.envirosax.com/

So back on environmentally conscious designer's...

Some top designer's who have created eco-fashion collections are...

Linda Loudermilk

Linda Loudermilk uses earth-generated textiles made of sasawashi, bamboo, sea cell, soya and other eco-fabrics such as EcoSpun. EcoSpun is recycled plastic beverage bottles that have been melted and then turned into a filament that is spun and re-knit with cotton to form a soft and fleecy fabric.

John Patrick uses organic cotton and silk cinched with structured recycled polyester and organic cotton twill.

So you see guys, saving the earth isn't that hard, we all just have to chip in and do our part. Organic Fashion is definitely the way to go!

Happy Halloween!

Ok so today's post is inspired by my cousin, he gave me the idea to post about strange and unlikely costumes for halloween. The other night he came into my room to show me his costume and believe it or not people, he's going as a TAMPON for halloween.

That night i attended a halloween party with a few of my friends, i enjoyed the wild variety of costumes that appeared that night. I saw classic fairytale characters like snow white to a guy in a jelly belly outfit or from a french maid to the super mario brothers. The variety of costumes that appear always seem to surprise me, a few people are bound to think up new ideas for more odd and stranger costumes each year.

Here are a few pictures of people with awesome costumes at the party...
Hope you enjoy today's post and maybe you'll get a bunch of new ideas for next year's halloween!

My Fashion Idol

Ok so my last post was about a fashion icon from the past, now i wanna talk about my own personal fashion idol of today. The one and only BLAKE LIVELY!

I love this girl! She has an amazing personality and she's so confident about herself. Blake Lively gives out a very happy vibe and it's transparent in the way she dresses. It's all about casual and fun for her, like everything just comes so easily. She wears trendy outfits that suite her personality, from bright shirts to gorgeous dresses and statement peices, this girl's definitely got a flare in fashion.

Blast from the Past

First thing that comes in to my mind when i think fashion icon of the past is Audrey Hepburn.  Audrey Hepburn was not only an amazing actress but a great and amazing fashion icon as well. She was beautiful, talented and she made a statement with her fashion style. Even up to today she still influences people, for example, in the hit tv show Gossip Girl  Blair Waldorf's fashion idol is Audrey Hepburn. She even mentions this in one of the first few episodes in Season 1

She had such an elegance that drew people to her which is probably why it isn't so surprising that she started a few trends like the Hepburn Pants. Everyone started to wear them in the 40's, a lot of women wanted to be like her and why not? She was gorgeous!
